The Assembly hand knotted rug designed by Margo Selby is directly inspired by the vivid colour and intersecting block formations of Margo’s handwoven artworks - an example of the studio’s ‘art into industry’ approach.
Made in 100% wool using a traditional asymmetrical knotting technique on an upright loom. This creates a premium quality long-lasting rug, with intricate design detail. The motifs are hand-carved to create a 3-dimensional profile. The dense pile of the wool adds both depth and texture to the colours.
Craftsmanship: Hand Knotted (60 knots per spare inch)
Pile Composition: 100% New Zealand Wool
